Parade Route
The parade starts just north of the Albee Road bridge. There are public viewing areas on the ocean side of the waterway & restaurants opposite on the east side.
As the parade continues down the Intracoastal, due to hurricane damage, we will not venture out into the jetty channel. Limited viewing will be on the north side of the jetty along the intracoastal, not on the actual jetty, and there will be no viewing from the public area on the South jetty.
If you are coming by boat there are plenty of spots along the way to drop anchor (but please refrain from parking in the parade route).
As the parade continues South there are miles of public viewing on both sides of the Intracoastal. The parade will turn around before the Circus Bridge.
Due to changes in our Intracoastal shores because of the hurricanes there will be some areas that no viewing will be permitted from. We will not know this status until the week of the parade. Monitor our Facebook site and the City of Venice FL web page for the latest information and restrictions.
Remember for Venice Island when the 2 north bridges go up the Circus Bridge remains down for VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ONLY. This remains in effect until such time that the 2 north bridges are re-opened to vehicular traffic.
Thanking the High School for their collaboration with the parade. For only $10 (with proceeds benefiting the kids) you are parking in a safe dedicated area, have access to restrooms and have the ability to walk across the field and set your chair up on the trail in one of the best spots for viewing the parade.
